Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Security Officer located in South Africa. The Security Officer is responsible for providing security and safety to the client’s premises and assets. The Security Officer must observe and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations, while ensuring a safe and secure environment for the client’s employees, customers, and visitors.
Qualifications
• Experience in security-related tasks such as access control, patrolling, monitoring, and reporting
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
• Familiarity with security-related technologies equipment, and procedures
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Capability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Customer-oriented and able to provide exceptional customer service
• Successful completion of Security Officer training/certification is a plus
• Grade C PSIRA Certificate
