Ackermans Shop Assistant Job Responsibilities
1. Customer Service & Sales Assistance
- Welcome and assist shoppers in finding products.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Deliver friendly and efficient service.
2. Cashier & Payment Processing
- Process cash, card, and lay-by payments.
- Handle customer refunds accurately.
- Balance the till at the end of each shift.
3. Merchandising & Store Maintenance
- Keep products neatly displayed and correctly priced.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.
4. Store Security & Risk Management
- Ensure products are properly tagged to prevent theft.
- Be alert to suspicious activity and report it to management.
- Participate in stock-taking and loss prevention efforts.

- Follow company procedures and maintain high work standards.
- Work efficiently and as part of a team.
Ackermans Shop Assistant Job Skills & Experience Needed
