What Is the Signa Academy Learnership Programme?
The Signa Academy Learnership Programme is designed to offer practical, hands-on skills training to young South Africans—especially those from previously disadvantaged backgrounds. Signa Academy provides access to fully accredited skills development programmes, empowering individuals with real-world experience and career readiness.
Since 2012, Signa Academy has grown from a small team of five to a national training institution with five permanent campuses. Today, it trains over 1400 learners annually across 59 career-building programmes.

Signa Academy Learnership Requirements
To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:
- South African Citizen
- Grade 9, 10, 11, or 12 qualification
- Certified copy of your ID
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Proof of address
- Certified highest qualification
- Valid banking details
- Certified copies of required documents
- Medical certificate (if living with a disability)
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R3,000 – R4,000, depending on the programme.
