The Engineering Learnership Programme 2025 is open for applications in the following disciplines:
- Plating – Apprentice Intake
- C&I Mechanician – Apprentice Intake
- Electrical – Apprentice Intake
- Fitting & Turning – Apprentice Intake
- Diesel – Apprentice Intake

Minimum Requirements Engineering Learnership Programme 2025
To qualify for the Engineering Learnership Programme 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Plating
- Grade 12/Std 10 Certificate with Maths
- N2 Engineering Science
- N2 Plating and Structural Steel Drawings
- N2 Platers Trade Theory
C&I Mechanician
- Grade 12/Std 10 Certificate with Maths
- N2 Engineering Science
- N2 Industrial Electronics
- N2 Mechanician Theory
Electrical
- Grade 12/Std 10 Certificate with Maths
- N2 Engineering Science
- N2 Industrial Electronics
- N2 Electrical Trade Theory
Fitting & Turning
- Grade 12/Std 10 Certificate with Maths
- N2 Engineering Science
- N2 Engineering Drawings
- N2 Fitting & Machine Trade Theory
Diesel
- Grade 12/Std 10 Certificate with Maths

Additional Requirements Engineering Learnership Programme 2025
Applicants must also meet the following conditions:
- Must be able to travel to the training centre outside Limpopo.
- Obtain a Red Ticket (Medical Fitness Certificate) for mine work.
- Pass SAPS Criminal Record verification and qualification verification.
- Successfully complete psychometric and technical assessments.

Application Process Engineering Learnership Programme 2025
- All applications must include original certified proof of qualifications and proof of residence.
- Use the correct reference number for the discipline you are applying for.
- Successful candidates will receive a four-year Section 18.2 Learnership Contract.
- Training will take place at Randfontein Training Centre and Venetia Mine.
- Employment Equity considerations will apply.
Eligibility and Preference
- Only applicants from Venetia Mine Labour Sending Areas (Musina, Blouberg, Alldays) within Limpopo Province will be considered.
- The programme is subject to pre-screening, profile testing, medical and security clearance.
